Polo Kangaroo-ing!!

My mates sister has a 2000MY, 1.4 8v Polo.

When travelling at about 30mph in 4th gear, the car kangaroo's , coughs and splutters etc. Changing down to 3rd helps a bit but not completely.

It's recently had a full service and had plugs and leads etc all changed but with no effect.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

its either ur cat has colapsed in the exhuast oir ur fuel filter is bloked, cause mine does this and ive got to have a new cat!

Or u could jus be a crap driver! lol
