Smoke?!?!
Smoke?!?!
hey guys, was jus about to change my Air filter, got one of Zombie (cheerz fella) , left the engine running (wanted to here the growl
) so popped off the dusbin lid to find smoke coming from the oil breather??.... is this normal, it cant be goo to have smoke going into the mixture??
any help would be good cheerz guys!

It's not a problem, as long as it's not thick black sludge it's throwing out
The point of that breather is to recycle oil fumes from the bottom end of the engine, so that's all you're seeing. If it's particularly heavy it may be that your filter needs changing, which is (supposedly, I've not tried it) a pig of a job to do without removing the engine, as it's right at the back of the engine with no room to tap it in.. so probably something best left to someone who's paid to get frustrated with cars

Kris, I put a little breather filter on mine when I put on the bolt on- theres always white rich smelling smoke coming from there-it completely clogged up my filter!
but after ive made that custom airbox you know i am making there aint gona be any fumes a comin from my engine bay[lol]
Also I am off to get my MOT wednesday once ive fitted my new centre section, this weekend we should start work on that euro stylee boot of yours. Got some prices comin for you on friday on that pioneer stereo equipment. Ill give you a shout, TombZOMBIE
