drilling in the boot and cd changers

Hey,

Can anyone tell me if it safe to drill and screw a cd changer into the left hand side of the boot?

Where have people mounted their cd changers?

That's where mine was and there appeared to be no problem. I didn't do it my self i admit but i've never experience any problems. I only recently moved it to my stealth shelf as i wanted the extra bit of boot space and got fed up with the changed conflicting with the carpet in the boot each time i access the spare wheel space underneath.

I'm just very nervous of drilling and a) breaking something like a fuel hose, brake line or something or b) creating a hole that can corrode and leak.

my changer is in the same place. so you should be ok as SiDaBa said
