Yes, you can get them in germany. I think the cup cars had them too, but are like hens teeth. I saw some solid alloy ones on german ebay, would shake the car to bits I reckon. :lol:

Argh! Just imagining a long motorway drive with solid alloy engine mounts.... nargh!

Yeh, the cup car mounts are harsh. I tried just the rear gearbox one once and took it back off before the car even hit the road, it drummed through the bodywork that much! :shock:

Anyone know of any places in Germany (websites preferably) where the uprated cup car mounts cab be obtained from?

If not... might have to be the standard VW jobbies then (when the time arrises)

:idea:

At a guess... how would this sound as a reasonable option then...
both front mounts uprated and a standard rear gearbox mount from VW?

The cup car ones are a very hard rubber i think and if they shake the car a lot, then I hate to think what the alloy ones do :shock:

Get standard new ones

standard new one would be best, coz they gonna be new rubber, they will be harder than the ones u got now, !! :D
