thats what i'll do, unless i find a sugar daddy on here / porka who'll have it for a good consideration

sort of

Boards --- Autotrader / other car pages - start high, drop down to more belt-tightening prices --- hit boards again --- ebay it with low starting price (say £75) and modest reserve (£150) --- re-list it with £5 start price and no reserve (and the usual naff "i reserve the right to remove auction at any time" boilerplate).

All the while having it out on a prominent street corner for a little over your "halfway" autotrader price.

Personally I'd get ads up in the local 6th form collage / uni.. free and perfect target audience. Managed to sell my polo that way for £55 more than I bought it for within a week.. and then changed my mind and kept it
