Gearbox help needed asap

Help! I'm needing gearboxes for a mk4 1.4 and a 1.6...

1/. has anybody got anything?
2/. what other boxes are a straight fit and suitable ratios (e.g. mk4 1.3, 8p etc etc).

try VW breakers in coventry called VW sanburn search for em on the net for contact info. Got my gearbox from em, they got loads of polo ones in stiock+ should be able to help.

talk to em and make sure they exactly know what's what, the model of car you have etc --- had trouble previous with a scrappie who was talking out of his arse.

shouldnt think a vw specialist should have as much trouble however!

All 085 boxes will fit, having the ratio's and final drives you wan't is another thing.

Got a 1.4 box, still needing a CABLE CHANGE 1.6 box.
