Cruise Control and door lights on polo 9n, any diy guide?

Post by polotdi75power »

Hi!

I´m new here :D . I´m from Madrid, Spain. As all of you im crazy for my car  , and i only want to improve it and make it look better. I want to install the cruise control (TEMPOMAT) and install some door lights. I saw that a couple of uk polos members have already done it. Could u please make a diy guide? It would be nice to all.
Thank u very much. Greetings from Spain!

Hello, welcome to the forum! I hope you enjoy your stay here.
A couple of months ago I had cruise control installed, sadly I didn't have the time to do it myself so I took it to the dealer and they charged 2 hours labor for it. I don't know which of these parts you have or will need, but I am posting the parts that were necessary for the cruise control system for my polo:

6q0 953 513F 01C - cruise control stalk

813 972 924
813 972 925
6q0 937 702A
000 979 131
000 979 131A
000 979 227 - cable sockets

059 905 371D - diode

000 979 009
000 979 009A - cable sets

these parts plus the fitting cost me around 150 euro. As for DIY guides I think you can find plenty in vwvortex.com but they will be for golfs most probably. Let us know how it goes.

Enjoy :D
