Air Filter/induction kit
just got a Polo recently and am making modifications as i can afford. I want the engine to sound more throaty and sporty (lol). Some1 told me air filters are the part for this. I have looked at proper induction kits such as K&N and then looked at ones i can actually afford such as Halfords Universal Air Filter. Does any1 know how 2 fit one of these, as the instructions are general and im not sure where and how it fits, it is a cone shaped filter and thats all the comes and a fixing bracket. Any ideas or any diy guides that can help???

hmmm, I wouldn't bother, if all you want is the sound then just drill the box. no harm really but it won't improve the performance at all.
some people take the "universal" cone and put it at the end of the current intake - just about where the warm air feed meets the intake it forks - that's where they put it. means you can keep the neat air box and you still get a better sound.
