I think I'm gonna try to put 215 at the back and put some wheel spacers...

Maybe next year I'll chrom them if I have enough time :roll:

215 :!: that will rub like hell im running 195 50 15`s and i get the occasional rub in the rear (could be how i drive though cos i rubbed on the stockies 13" on oem susp) if your trying to look hardcore euro then why not try a 185 or even 175 :?:

weel I've seen a Polo on vw-page with 215/40 at the back so I tought it would be ok....but everyone is telling the same thing :evil:
It would look so nice with really large tires at the back...

we0ll see when Spring comes...

It can be done, i'm now running 215/35r18 rubber, which doesn't scrub to bad on the inner arch, just the leading edge of the wheel (near the side skirt) but you do need a few mods to get them on. I've had my arches flared 35mm.

imo - i think a set of polished (not chrome) 17s would REALLY suit that car because its an amazing kit and the wheels will look a little bit lost in the arches.
