Can I be an honorary member please? :)

Post by LunaLupi »

I joined a while back, driving a red Seat Arosa (although probably no-one will remember :D)

I've got a New Polo as a courtesy car because I got rear ended last week, so the car had to go in for some (major, to the tune of £1500) repairs :( Can I be classed as an honorary Polo driving member for the next couple of weeks please :D

BTW I have to say I really like the Polo (9n i think it is - correct me if I'm wrong) - drives really smooth, handles nicely, but the visibility backwards is worse than our old one (and that was bad enough) - so the really badly parked red Polo in Bath is probably me!

Errr no!

 Only kidding! Course you can!

Sorry to hear about the Arosa, I take it that your getting it sorted on the insurance? What engine is the Polo? And I know what you mean by the view out the back, my headrests limit the view and have nearly swiped a few pedestrians in the process.

Yay! I feel so special :P

It's a 1.2 - not much for a Polo, but it feels soooo much faster compared to the 1L Arosa. And yes, its all being sorted on the insurance *phew*

Was a bit of a bump :D
But there wasnt much damage to the body work - dent in the bumper was about it - the guy sort of clipped (well smacked) the drivers side at the back, so the rear wheel was torn out and it needs a new rear axel - i think that where the moneys going :(
I do have a pic, but the quality is really awful.
