Looks like a good weekend, I'll be traveling down saturday if anyone fancies going.
Can't wait to see the audi's on the track.

There will be plenty of action at the International Historic Motorsport Show on 25-27th February 2005 at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry.

A championship – level Autotest, organised by the British Trials and Rally Drivers Association, will take place on Saturday 26th February. This will be a spectacular display of driving precision close to the exhibition halls.

Also on Saturday and Sunday the Slowly Sideways Group will present a demonstration of Historic Rally Cars on a specially laid out tarmac stage in the park. To mark 25 years since the debut of the Audi Quatto, which began the four-wheel drive revolution at the 1980 Algarve Rally, the actual original car will be driven, as it was 25 years ago, by Hannu Mikkola.

The list of cars includes a 2-stroke Saab 96 V4, a Mini Cooper, Lancia Fulvia, Stratos and Integrale, Audi Quattro, MG Metro 6R4, Ford RS200, Nissan 240RS, Porsche 911SCRS and Renault 5 Maxi Turbo. Sightings of the group in the UK are quite rare, but they will be at the show.

On the morning of Sunday 27th Timo Makinen will “flag awayâ€
