G40 arches

Anybody any idea how much sum G40 arches will cost me?

I saw some a while ago on clubpolo classifieds going for 80 quid for the four. I am hoping they're cheaper than that though.

They sell for around Â£80 second hand usually. Brand new for arches (and sills) its around Â£160. Its Â£27.50 per arch and then something similar for the sills.

Â£80 is a rediculous price to pay for the plastic arches. Go hunting round scrappy's and you will find some eventually.

I sold one on it's own for Â£10 the other day, thats the kind of price you should be paying.

If u order direct from VW they will cost 42pounds a corner last time i enquired about 12 months ago. expensive hey!

I sold a set last year for Â£30ish IIRC, and that seemed a lot back then! Â£80 really is a lot of money, as Dan said just keep hunting round them scrappies.

You'll need more than G40 arches if you are concidering fitting 8 and 9x13" wheels with et0!!!!

Got G40 now so arches already on, gunna change rears and have 8's, they were bad enuf on Pink polo, so 9's wud b a nightmare!

My 8" ats classics stick out a fair bit on my G40

I'm changing them for my 7x13" mattig steelies as they sit in the arches quite nicely.

The old bill around my way wouldn't take too kindly to the ats's sticking out that far

Could do with the money as i've spent miles too much on my car already!!

Unfortunately they are painted blue in colour so they don't go well with my shiney red G

They are 7" on the front and 8" on the back
