Zymol Heaven

Post by M@Turner »

Well today i went to me local Halfords, and decided to purchase some Zymol auto wash. I've heard all the good reviews about Zymol so thought i'd give it a bash.

As soon as i opened the bottle and smelt the coconut and banana, it made me smile :) (weird or what) Anyway started washing the car and it just seemed to be easier to use. When i'd finished i was amazed at how it looked and the smell of the paint surface was ace.

My brother was so amazed, that he gave his Black CTR a quick wash with it too, using the same bucket of water which i had :!: (you may be thinking that wasn't such a good idea but you should have seen the results. His had an absolutely fantastic shine to it)

It may be expensive, but i'm now gonna buy some more Zymol products. My beautiful Satin Silver, 3dr Polo GTI deserves the best. 8)

I've heard good reviews about this stuff, but I prefer a std wash but use swissol paint cleaner and wax. I've heard Meguiars are quite good too.

If you like Turtle Wax rebadged as Zymol, you'll love the real stuff!

The blue stuff?

Yep, I use this too - excellent results. Much better than all the standard car wash products.

Nice one!

I use the Halfords Zymol Shampoo as it's loads better than the "real" Zymol Shampoo that you get from www.zymol.co.uk (it's a bit stronger so it cleans a bit better, plus it lasts longer and is cheaper)...

However, I also use Zymol Tyre, Zymol Leather, Zymol Vinyl, Zymol Field Glaze and last but not least: Zymol Titanium Wax.

Zymol rules!!! :D

However, I also use:

3M Perfect It III Cleaner Clay
3M Perfect It III Fine Compound
3M Imperial Hand Glaze

... before waxing with the Zymol Titanium.

I bought some of the Halfords Zymol polish the other week. I wasn't very happy with it at all. it seems very dusty & didn't give a particulary good finish. In fact the turtle wax stuff I've also got seems to give a better finish.

I'd probably only buy proper zymol again.

spotted my local halfords finally got various "zymöl" products in, this weekend (needed bits and pieces, rooted through the post-jan-sales bargain bin, etc)

whats the difference between these and "real" zymol?

alot of people seem to think these cheaper variations of zymol are simply badged zymol and made by turtle wax, which is b*******s. These are made by zymol and relationship with turtle wax is purely for distribution purposes. its actually a SUV range that's a little big stronger than the usual stuff, its great stuff and lasts ages
