Roof Bars/rails?

Hi,

Really into my mountain biking and go away loads on the weekends, as i have the new car i dont want to use the boot bike carrie as i will scrathc the hell out of the lovely black paint work! sooooo.....

does anybody know where you can get roof bars/rails that fit a polo? I guess if i went to VW themselves they woudl charge me about Â£10,000!!!

I went into halfords and they had a few but it looked like they were for estate cars and way too big.

Anyone fitted roof bars to their polo? if so where did you get them?

I managed to get some 2nd hand VW ones off ebay, they turn up every so often. Theyre good because they anchor into the points on the roof on all polos, and then lock so it makes them slightly more difficult to steal. Sit a good distance above the car aswell so if youve got a sunroof you can still tilt it open. Probably the same as the ones in the for sale section thinking about it.

Mine are OEM aswell, very happy with the build and fit. Not too pleased with the sticky-outy look they have, but I still love them.
