Mole: i now fully understand why you upgraded to an FQ340. Don't think i'd be able to handle the fact that my car only had 1/2 the bhp that my mates cars have. You now have the most now though, which is ace.

As for my mates and modded cars;
My work mate Frank(Dave) has a Polo 9N- no mods
Nick has a Clio 1.4 S- modding just started with ICE
Adz has a Saxo VTR - no mods
Paul has a 206 XSI - a couple of exterior mods
Luke has a metro - no mods
Ecc has a Seat Arosa - new grill
And finally my Brother has a Civis Type-R - Comptech air box, New exhaust, and something else which i can't remember.

So as you can see, only 1 other VW lover! Gotta love the Type-R though. 8)

(Mum &) Dad drive(s) a standard silver VW Bora 1.9TDi - they point-blank draw the line at modifications and me Mum actually laughed and clapped her hands when I told her I can't modify mine under the terms of my current insurance policy  :x

As it happens my sister has their old Bora, a 1.6 SE-spec in "bright green" and her bloke, who got us all into VWs in the first place, had a diamond black 6n 1.4 16v before replacing it not long ago with a non-metallic black Golf 5 2.0 SDI. Before we all bought VWs the 'rents were into (again standard) blue oval cars in a big way, pick of the bunch was a 1993 Mondeo Si in silver with alloys and boot spoiler, it was really nice at the time!

It is a bit stupid, There's really no need to have 5 exhausts personally.. I'll try and find a clearer pic but its like baby's head style  This is what it was like before the paint job and the boot got smoothed

So you know the people that I laugh at when I see them at car events!!!

Some real monsters in tem pics above.

I'm glad none of my friends drive cars like those.

Sorry, but it's true.

I dunno, the 306's are alright.. I like the cab anyway. The others though...
I mean, why on earth does that blue corsa have a snowplough attached to the front of it? And what are the 5 -enormous- exhaust pipes meant to achieve? (Indeed, how many of them are actually connected to the engine...)
Ah well. Takes all kinds...

Yeah, I heard that was pretty popular.. a friend of a friend did a 2.0 transplant into a corsa a while ago, liverpool victoria only charged him £20/year extra for the insurance on it  Wish I was that lucky..
