if your 100% by the book yes but thus far i havnt seen a good reason why as they produce less heat so the chances of burning somthing ontl the lense is much reduced

it actually because they produce less heat that you need washer to clean the lense during winter when there is snow on the lamp

You have also got to have auto height adjustment, but who cares.

i do how it works is; while im driving along if someone flashes me then i remember and then the next time someone flashes me i move the adjustyer down one notch
