I feel very glad that I haven't got any coursework or exams! There is something to be said for having a job after all, ha ha!

GT4 is superb IMHO :D but I was struggling to be competitive in any of the races to start with, despite having bought, as my first car, a '98 CTR :|

The answer was to buy the Stage 1 weight reduction - it makes one helluva difference and I can suddenly win races :)

jm2pw!

Hope you all enjoy it as much as I am...

Prash, regarding the 350Z, it's available in-game as a special edition, and in the real world Nissan and Polyphony have released a special limited edition of the 350Z that looks exactly like the in-game car with unique paint and rims 8)

been playing it for about 6 hours straight now and think its quite an improvement from the last, the balance of the cars' are spot on now. Though is anyone else noticing having about 3 different bhp figures for the same car, got an ek type r civic bought with 162 (should have been 182 I think) then in my garage said it was at 160, then in the replay after a race it was 177...weird

Been playing it for a couple of hours, seem to have spent most of my time just checking out the cars.

Anyone else played with the photo mode yet? I had a quick go with the Polo GTi (naturally) :D Wonder why they used the 5-door version?

GT2 destroyed my life...!

somehow GT3 just seemed a little less fun and eventually a bit boring so i gave up on it (my brother has it now)

hope GT4 reverses the trend...... i'll give it a couple weeks then i might get it, and a second hand PS2 expressly for the purpose (currently only have a PSX :D)

edit: well, 5 door version....... is it actually any longer in body & wheelbase or not? (i know it's not always the case). at least there's a polo of some description in there... did they ever get round to adding the G40 / etc for the european market? (wonder if this version supports data-discs :D)

Well, 70 odd races down, and only 7.6 (or there abouts) % complete. Its gonna be a long month!

P.S. I have noticed the up and down bhp figures too. My Lancer has a maximum of 382, yet can drop as low as 353 in the garage, and replays show a claimed 376.

Is it possible that in the garage frontscreen, where your cars are listed, the power figure is at the fly, then when you go and select your car in the garage, the reduced figure is at the wheels? Its odd that it changes three times though, not quite sure why that is :?

I've maxed out my Polo btw:

Both images could benefit from a little lightening up, but loving those RS4 wheels 8) 8)

You need 26,720 credits, then off you go to the VW garage to buy it! Lighten it ASAP and don't bother with fitting a turbo, the NA tuning gives higher power gains and better performance

Seem to have spent all my time and money on the Polo GTi. Best thing has to be fitting a 1.5 slippy diff, really helps stop the understeer.

Not as much fun as what I won for completing the GTi Cup though :D

yep got it aswell 8)
its so amazing, that i've hardly been out last few days! except for work
how far has everyone got? im upto 8.9 percent and that took a fair while
and licences are pretty hard to get gold on all!

p.s did anyone transfer gt3 credits to gt4? i transfered 100,000 and bought the hpa motorsports stage 2 R32 heh, so fast and handles great.

all in all its rather a big game!

i've heard rumours that there is also a polo tdi?? and polo 1.2 02- (9n)

I've not seen any used Polos in the lots, but with 750+ cars in the game, anything could pop up! Latest acquisition is a Mitsi Lancer Evo VI GSR T.M.E. which I'm in the process of tuning up :)

I haven't got the Golf Mk1 GTi - I haven't done the GTi cup yet! D'oh
