Whats people's opinion on this lot??

Post by 1 litre land rover Dave »

Hi all,

Need opinions to ensure i'm on the right track.

K&n Induction Kit - £55.99

FK Highsport Coilovers £445.45 (Honest opinions on these two?)
H&R Coilovers £687.61

Scorpion Exhaust System £286.65 (Any others you can recommend or same at a better price)

Pirelli Pzero Nero 195/40/16 £259 (Running Toyo's 195/45/16 at the mo)

All for a 1 litre 6N2 (i think! lol) X reg 2000.

Any more idea's are welocome, and where best to buy them.

Regards

Dave

The price you quoted for the P Zeros are pretty good, I paid £280 for mine and that was the cheapest quote I got! (and yeah they were 195/40/16). They're been pretty good so far, I feel better than the Michelin Pilots I had before but not sure how they compare to the Toyos, I assume Proxies? Shame they don't do them in that size!).

Those H&R Coilovers, where did you get that price from?

U alright man.

http://www.motorsportworld.co.uk/ is good for scorpion exhausts. I got mine from here. Really cheap, and quick delivery.

Not sure of the exact website, but i know its called mrtyres. I bought a set of toyo tyres 6 months ago for £140 inc p+p

Also try ebay for coilovers and induction kit. I got an induction kit for £30, and h&r coilovers for £380.

Would also suggest a front splitter and sideskirts. Finish the car off nicely.

Good luck.

yeah its stuck on guys, though the centre has come away, glue dried out for some reason (like jons) they all seem to do this, strange.

as for the www.uk-polos.net sticker, lol it got so tatty that it started to read vww.uk-polos.ne, because of the knackered rear wiper blade!
so it just says uk-polos now
short and sweet! heh
as i've got the sunstrip at the front now 8)

should of got an inside sticker! much better

the spc list sounds good mate!

as i said to you before about the panel filters, a single panel filter is about 50ish and u would need two! so an induction kit much more money saving!

first thing someone said at polo meet was "how do you get away with having them on the parcel shelf"
well i live in the country so its abit quieter i spose, but if i go 2 towns sometimes i put a blanket over them.
