i sell them and am looking for feedback from owners..

why wolud you want these they look ridiculous

and i doubt they have any major performance benifits.

how do they look ridiculous...

they are 10% lighter and stop alot better, also are easy on the pads apparently..

i think they look pretty trick, saving for some to go on my gti

I'll never buy grooved discs again, I don't believe mine do anything other than look different and cost about twice as much. I have Brembo vented but non-grooved discs and Raicam pads going on mine.

10% lighter they may be, but stick a decent set of speakers in your car and you'll probably counteract that weight saving.

I have them on my GTi, noticed a bit of difference over standard with the addition of pagid pads...

they do look trick in my opinion too... my mate with his Ibiza cupra swears by them too! next to brembo's of course

grooved discs have no affect what so ever on braking power the only way to increase braking power is to increase the disc size or caliper piston clamping force!!!!!!!!!!!!

i think youll find the its the pads that are making the difference if any.

the weight saving would surely be insignificant as previously said.

grooved discs imao are a waste of time on normal road cars, they were originally designed to clear dirt and water when used on rally cars etc.

standard vented solid discs are equally as good and cheaper,

maybe drilled discs would be advantageous due to the fact they release the hot air caught in the central vents. although these are prone to cracking if under high stress.

imao they look incredably 'lacks' power and so cheesy

just my opinion

ps save your money for worth while mods

they do look slightly cheesy but if your after a power gain i cant imagine your going to be filling your car with speakers.
i do agree with the groved and drilled discs thing that you said jamie, that don tdo didly squat on a road car.
the less weight on your wheels though. the quicker they go around.
thats why they do titanium hub nuts for mk1 'scorts an the like...

It's a looks mod not a performance one I reckon, but it's up to you if you wanna get them.

I just think they're a waste of money, and I'm talking from experience.

Grooved discs are noisy as well, and I agree they look a bit Lacks Power to me.

Drilled discs look cool, but they're a bit unnecessary on just about all cars.

Don't buy EBC stuff either, it's way overpriced.

Unless anyone here fancies a set of part worn EBC discs and pads - changed as I don't like them not cos they're shagged - in which case PM me as I want about a tenner for them max.

Performance pads and standard discs are where it's at, tried and tested.

Spot on - if you feel your brakes are lacking then there is something wrong.

A change of fluid is always my first port of call sharpens them up no end

how many people do an anual brake fluid change cos thats what should happen

Good advice, brake fluid degrades over time.

I have some of these brembo oe discs to fit with raicam pads, along with braided flexi's and new motul fluid. The rears will get stripped and put back with new cylinders, suprising how much difference it makes on a mk 3.

Yep, mine gets new brake fluid every year when it gets serviced.

I'm gonna get my fluid changed again when I have my new discs and pads put on.
