well I was gonna write 'new boy', but there is already a 'new guy' thread... so new...... balls please!!!
Been lurking on the forums for a few weeks now after seeing a link in polo2k's sig on the whoretex as I have been looking for a good polo forum to use for a while...
Used to use ClubGTI forum all the time but have really gone off that place over the last few months...
So here I am. I have plenty of questions to ask, as am new to polos, but not modifying, as I have spent the last 5 years modding my '87 Golf GTI.

well at the moment the car is very standard...
As you can see from my sig it's a 1991 GT Coup in light blue, and the only mods so far are..
.ally door pins
.wolfburg edition window winders
.vwmotorsport gearknob
.JR induction filter
.matt black exhaust
.and de-hubcapped!!
I have put a new stereo in it, with an Alpine CD head unit, rocky fosgate 6x9's (made a steath shelf from the original for them) and some alpine's in the dash...
in my garage i have some tyre-less p-slots and a whole heap of colour coded dash trim, and in my bedroom i have a raid snap-off steering wheel, ally mirror adjusters, and some clear front and side repeaters..
In a couple of weeks I'm getting a stainless exhaust made, and eventually want to get a 4-branch manifold!
Not too bad for a car that was meant to stay standard!!!
The polo was only meant to be a run around for when the golf broke down (whch was pretty regular) but as I am now gonna sell my golf I thought I'd mod the polo til I buy my next golf for my VR6 lump to go in!!
