tonight was quite a productive evening for the G! i finished polishing the panels so now the whole car has had one colour restore coat, and a polish coat! looking shiney but there is still room for improvement!
i have now ripped out the old speaker cables and replaced them with new, thicker cable! also put in the cables for a CD changer!
wiring isn't one of my favourite jobs but it had to be done!
now i can put most of the dash and interior back together ready for the road!
now all i am waiting on is the engine bits to be done (couple of weekends) and an alarm to be fitted!
then, i final wash and polish and a bit of touch up here and there and she'll be rolling back onto the road (after MOT and tax)
i'm counting the days!
regards

after three weeks stood with the front up on ramps, she has finally come back down to earth!
today i changed the rocker cover gasket and the clutch cable. so she was ready to come off the blocks as all the engine bit have now been completed!
suprising how low it seems now its off the blocks!
so the first stage of the project is nearly complete, its taken 2-3 months to carry out (bad spate of weather in the middle) but the time is nearly here! just a little bit of titilating and she will be ready to go for an MOT. can't have here going dirty now can we?
i'll be posting some before and after shots of her very soon, the difference is quite amazing!

currently i have the original 13" bbs's. they are in reasonable condition with light curbing around the very outer edge! there is also the odd light mark or, i wanna say chunk but its not as bad as the word, out of a couple of the wheels!
gonna do a small bit of refurbing myself, just on the outer edge, a light sanding just to remove any sharp bits and then go round with a small paint brush to tidy it up a bit more!
