G40 camshaft?

anyone got any ideas on what performance cam to fit to g40? also is a g40 cam different profile to standard 1.3 cl and is it possible to fit g40 cam into 1.3cl? as i have a mate with cl who may want my cam. thanx.

no the cam for a normally aspirated and forced induction engines are totally different, and while the cam should fit a cl, it would probably run worse than a standard one.

Yeah, the CL cam is likely to be a symmetric 204 degree cam (assuming it's AAV engine code) or a symmetric 196 degree cam (if it's engine code NZ). The G40 cam is assymetric - 199 degree inlet, 228 degree exhaust so isn't really suitable.
