hiya mate
where is the place u got ur short shift from???

also after brake pads, brake hoses, and also maybe an uprated clutch? any ideas.

did they fit urs??

i think its a b&m short shift kit for a mkIII golf Vr6
i think omp do pads ( i have em on my 1.4 and love em)
sachs for the clutch i think
and omp do the flexi`s too i think

The Short Shift is indeed a B&M from a MK3 VR6.

I got it from JBS Auto Designs in Chesterfield. 01246 550 400

They do Goodrich brake hoses and will be able to sort you out with a clutch too...

I got your email you sent them... All their emails come to me at the moment, so it's best if you call them.

They don't do mail order.

But they are open on Saturdays... If you're going to make the trip up, let me know and I'll come over!

Does the short shift really changes alot?

And there's no problem fitting a MK3 Vr6 on the polo?`it will work for my 1.4 16V?

if yours linkage is cable then it might fit but i know that on the 8v its a solid linage so i might try and find one for a 1.4 8v golf or custom maybe cos there pretty sinple really
