Problem with my polo, help needed!!

Hi

i have polo 9n 1.2 3dr, it currently has vw steroe and vw 6 cd player below it. I want to install a new head unit but apprently i cant becasue the 6 cd player is only compatibe with the vw steroe. Anyone kow anything about this?

Also the other day wett to install rear speakers and tried to open rear side grills. But realised they are only for looks. they are not see-thourgh so no speakers can actually fit behind them. so will have to drill into back shelf. but this cant be done becasuse i need to change head unit but cant do that beacuse of 6 cd player.

u need to get some release keys to take out the Beta radio cassete player. im not sure bout the compatibility of the CD changer, but there may be adapters avaliable.

the rear speakers just now are "dummies" . there is quite a bit of hassle getting rear speakers in , (as a few members on here can tell u..) the rear shelf seems to be an easier alternaive, fitting some good 6x9s

thanks for that, but i have no problem getting the head unit out, its jsut the comaptibility issue with the 6 cd player. also currently my vw radio only supports 2 speakers max. what 6 x 9 would you reccommend for a resonable price.
