VW Expo 2005

hello there

Uk-polos.net will be attending the VW Expo in the kent on sunday 26th june 2005. and i have organised a stand to represent the forum!

the expo is situated at the hop farm county park in paddock wood, kent! it is very easy to get to (i find the AA route planner useful)
the show is a great mix of water and air cooled vehicles of all different types!
i would recommend this as a great day out because if u get fed up of all the cars, there is still the hop farm to look round

mate, u would be very welcome to be on the stand! gotta be clean though!

don't forget that last year me and my bro were on the stand and our cars were far from perfect!

glad to have you on board my friend! i didn't think we'd get a GTI on board!

just waiting for confirmation from Aparker to see if he wants to be on the stand so i'll think that'll do for now!

i live only two mins down the road

was hoping to get my car in for the show and shine... but havent managed to get a couple of bits sorted in time... still unsure as to whether ill give it a shot or not though depends on the competition

i know i dont post on here much, - well not much at all really lol, but im on porka a lot and many people should recognise my car as Dan Barnes' old light green GT runabout

i know its not perfect (mainly cos of the small dent in the boot - see in pics - but its now barely noticable) but i think it has come a bloody long way since being a runabout

exterior things so far now:
6" BBS RA'S - now with Dunlop G40 profile tyres - weights on the inside lip now... will be polishing them out with some Autosol at the weekend

Chrome Strips on bumpers
Clear front indicators
No rear badges. Apart from POLO sprayed matt black
Crystal side repeators
German Plates
Debadge Grill

i only live 10mins down the road, really liked this last year... shame my car was crappy lol

Damn, it is the same the weekend as the Harewood house do...however that event is on both days of the weekend so I may be able to make it to both events, Leeds on Saturday, Kent on Sunday...hmmm sounds good yah?

Yolmol, nice motor...shouldn't see it being a problem on the stand, what do you say guys?

unfortunately due to recently changing jobs, and them expecting me to work on sundays (i have no choice because im still training up), i am unable to make this show now

if you read this before i speak to you Doug, i apologise.
Yolmol your car is nice, maybe you could take my position, im trying to get in contact with Doug but he hasn't been on msn lately.
anyway now that i have unfortunately dropped out, i dont see why not that your car could be included in the line-up
