fitting induction kit

hi guys, i got meself a v reg 1999 1.4 8v and im looking to fit this cone filter ive got. im having some troubles taking the vw panel off the top of the engine, can any1 give me any advice about how to remove this and fit the kit on with pics if possible im really stuk!! :oops:

is this a mk4 or mk5 you are talking about? i think v-reg was a mkIV polo
anyway this may help, i dont know
you need to get the air-box off by un-screwing the two bolts at the top then its a matter of pulling it off, firmly but safely.

then clipping the cone filter on top of the air-filter pipe, it looks ugly i know, as opposed to saxo's, clio's where you use the existing airbox to fit the induction kit, on a mk5 you can't do this without abit of modification (which is a pain in the arse)
