I got my charger back.

Post by dub envy »

Just been down and picked up my charger from Pitstop! They replaced some seals and bearings.. The Jabbasport items were apparently pretty crap. Hopefully this time I'll get longer than 10 days of driving out of it!! :D Will be fitting it tomorrow along with the toothed belt kit I got!! :D

The plan is to fit them tomorrow, run the charger in for a few hundred miles, then go back to pitstop to have the sns 5 chip installed sometime next week!

Then I just have to wait for the stand alone oil supply to be made along with a mocal oil catch tank, which only leaves the G60 injectors to get as soon as Pitstop recieve them!

Going to go to a breakers yard tomorrow to look for a front mount intercooler. Hopefully I'll find a dirty big 'cooler on a turbo diesel offroader or something. 8)

I cant wait to hear the noise the belts make!!

:D

LOL - you're a G addict now Rob, don't say you weren't warned... Everything from now on will be related to a search/quest for more PS! I can't recall a recent scrappy visit that didn't involve detailed intercooler assessment for me, let alone the whole 'hmmm, can I make this turbolader work on my G40' thing. It's an addiction, and there is no cure! At least you have the wedge to get your fix - better than my student loan can muster!
