GTI Air con into a 1.4 8v

Post by PhilGTi »

I have a 6n2 polo 1.4 and was wondering if i buy the Air Con unit would it just work? or is there more to it then that?

This is the unit. Normally they just make all the cars universal and just add/remove parts, for example my car didnt have front fogs, but had the wireing loom to add them...

Lol, sorry i didnt see them, did use the search tool however but obviously not too well, im so gutted my left fog grille was back ordered, i have the foglights, and switch sitting on my desk, asking to be fitted.

I got the fogs, bulbs and grills for £45 brand new. Is that a good deal?

I saw a post on here in the VAG parts section, martyn had quoted about £180 for the spots, bulbs, switch and fittings. I got rang vag direct and got them for about £125. When they got here they already had bulbs in so i sent the other ones back and got a refund :) You got them for a steal at £45 phill. I saw some on ebay for quite cheap but i was worried they wouldn't have all the fittings. Oh well. A definate good buy anyways, they make the car look real nice
