Deep dish alloys

Post by poloboyben »

Am lookign at getting some deepdish euro style alloys for my polo, but am finding it really hard to find any. Have checked the dubmeister website and they dont seem to have what im looking for. Just a simple design deep dished. ANy reccomendations would be fine.

The dubmeister had the borbet e alloys which i was interested in but were offset ET17 which i have heard wont fit onto my polo. Is this true?

Cheers

Have decided to get these wheels and they are on order at the minute. What sized 15' tyres do you suggest. I will be lowering it on coilovers, and dont want a too bumpy ride with real low pros.

What do you suggest the tyre size is of that polo above with the deep dish wheels?

Cheers

"coil-overs" and "soft ride" dont really go very well together
those alloys are pretty nice, once a start my new job i'll be able to afford something euro myself, but atm its back to stacking shelves

Well, on my 6.5*15" rims I have got 195/45s. So on an 8" wide alloy wheel, you could go for a 195/45 and streeeetch it over the alloys (if you trust your local friendly tyre-fitter!) or, more likely, probably a 205/40 or a 205/45 profile tyre should do the trick! Those Golf boys and girls will be able to help you out methinks, a lot of them are running 8" wide rims
