6x9's

Hi,

How easy would it be to fit 6x9's on the parcel shelf of a mk4 (6n)?

Would i need to buy a different one to support the speakers?

to fit them would be very easy - you would need a bit of mdf underneath to screw the 6x9's into, but it is possible

alternatively, make a new shelf out of mdf / ply and recess the 6x9's into a stealth shelf. then no thieving eyes can see them!
