Front Fog Switch Fitting and Questions

Post by PhilGTi »

Hey there, i need some help fitting my new headlight switch. I fitted the front fogs easily and the wiring loom etc was already there. Just need to know how to replace the old fog light switch. Is there no way of just modding the switch so that it does the rear and front fog lights?

On your present switch, turn it to the right to the furthest point, then press it in and give it a sharp turn to the right, it will then pop out. Unplug the plug at the end and reverse the process to fit the new one.:)

I'm sure you've probably read the link by now, but i think he meant put it in the left position i.e. off! then push it in and turn. its a piece of p***! Don't think a mod would be possible, cos your switch needs to pull out another notch. If you did it would probably be a bodge job. Just get a new swich they're only about £20
