Post by 1litreheater »

what exhaust have you lot got, and how have you placed them ? do people cut out part of the back bumper so the exhaust pipes can slot in there or do they let it just sit underneath the bumper ???
Style question really :?:

cutting makes it look flush, which is a must for tailpipes such as 5" jap pipes. and makes a big difference to the rear end.
ive seen a few with 4" uncut bumpers and looks outta place TBH

some like low slung, such as letterbox or oval, DTM

Agreed. Stealth is the future, you don't want to be associated with the Nova and Paxo brigade

Plus it might work out cheaper not to have a backbox mounted under the rear bumper as theres no cutting or fannying about with the bumpers to pay for :)

yeah yours looks alrite just undernaeth the bumper balinju, im just going to place mine there and hope its not to low, cant be arsed with cutting a place of the back bumper for it ! have you just got a back box with twin tail pipes ? not the full system ?

I went to my local garage today and the man was really tryin to think of some reasons why he wont do it for me, like labour involved cud cost up to £90, and even when its onm it might rattle and s**t like that, but im going down friday morning n he will get it up on the ramp and check it out !

Yes, the system is just a single pipe, only the back box has twin outlets
