1.4 16v high idiling on start, about 11 then drops to 9 ????

Hi guys,

the polo I've got 1.4 16v x reg idle's at about 1100 rpm when starting from cold, then drops to about 900 when warm, just wondering if this is also ur experience with this car!

Currently getting a clifford alarm with Intelistart fitted, the Intelistart package gives me the option to have the idiling maintained at a constant rpm on start up, but if my car is supposed to idle high when cold then i do not wish to have this option implemented!

Any comments guys would be greatly appreciated!?!

thats what my gti does, its just to make sure it doesnt stall when very cold
