Chargecooler
Chargecooler
well i got no advise so i just did it, fitted the chargecooler the other day and looks good under the bonnet. as i got no help i didnt know whether to stay with intercooler or take that out and run the chargecooler, so i thought why not run both? so thats what its got. the original intercooler and original pipe across the top of the rad and straight into the chargecooler then the throttle. its deffinately not made it any slower and if its made it quicker its no by much but the temperature of the air going in now is much cooler than it was before so cant be a bad thing. anyone know of anyone running both types of cooler before??

bought it off Ebay, its a pace chargecooler, although half of the kit it came with i havent used and what i have used from it i have modified anyway as to fit the whole kit you have to delete the original intercooler and use the chargecooler on its own, i now have BOTH. so i do have a spare Pace large core aluminium engine radiator which should fit any MK2 or MK3 polo, its slightly shorter than the original but its thicker so i do have a shorter rad fan cowling with motor as well
