B&M short shifts for 16v

i know they dont make one for the 16v but i was reading about mk5 GTI's and how mk4 golf and new beetle ones fit quite easy with a bit of tinkering...so maybe could the mk3 golf short shift be adapted to fit into the polo???
anyone no-anymore on this here topic??

Hey,

The MK3 golf short shift kit is basically a direct fit to the mk4 polo though im not sure what golf one u need

some mk4's use cable change and some use rod change and i think that makes a diference to if you can have a short shift kit fitted

chopping the gear knob down makes a difference
