mk5 offsets (newbie) :)

im picking up some wheels this weekend BBS RMs to go on my girlfreinds polo. im unsure about the offset tho the wheels we are getting are 15x7 et 27 front and 15x7.5 et 20 rear. will these stick out to much we plan on dropping it aswell 40-60mm
any help would be great

The ofset for the mk 5 polo is best bout et 37
sorry cant be much help at mo.

but anywhere between 30 to 38 is sufficient
just to clarify things up
hows the car going jon mate?

danny. i'\d be abit wary of 7.5 at the rear at 60mm! i assume you are talking about the mk5 polo (2000 onwards)

yeh its a 51 plate think its just gonna be lowered 40mm just gonna get the rims n see what room we have left! il post some pics when there on,on sunday! :lol: they cant stick out as much as my golfs 16x9s with an offset ov et 15

as you said, lower it 40mm then see if you can go any further, dont know until you try!
