Finally got car serviced.... BUT...

she flew through the service and 80 point check with ATS BUT they couldnt turn off the flashing 'inspection' thingy where the mileometer is???

surely to god this is easy to re-set?? the guy apolgised and said they had a polo in the other day and they couldnt re-set it either! said to take it to VW and tell them and they will do it for free.....

anywone else had this problem?

u talking about the service light?!

if you are there are some previous posts based on this...i think it is somewhere in the DIY section

hope im not getting my wires crossed, its not the service light/orange icon (diesel) that flashes on the speedo but under the digital mileage reading it flashes INSEPCTION.

I was a good boy and did a search, there is a link in the DIY section on how to get rid of it under "how to reset service interval"
