its a good show to go to, time of year *should* make it nice and sunny. Tis an all types VW show really, i think there are prob more air cooled there (mainly clean ones in the classes for the show n shine), but thre is still a hefty amount of water cooled dubs about the place.

Oh:
at the weekend i will be shampooing my seats and cards. - lol cleaning off the barbecue sauce
Cleaning up my wheels arduously one by one (i think a cv boot split on the car they came from - oil all on the inside of em!)
Changing the front o/s quarter for a non tint glass
and maybe undersealing the underside under the side trim

i only live a 10min or so drive away... is there anything i can do with regards to setting up??

It's his old white breadvan which is currently sporting a rather fetching red front wing ;)

yep, tis my old mk2 breadvan! had a completely rotton wing on it when we bought it, so replaced the wing with one from the breakers, and haven't got round to spraying it! has been like that for ova 3 years now i think! :?

still, one day i will spray it (got the rattle cans and everything, then might use it as a daily driver!

oohhhh only a day to go, i got a serious amount of stuff to do before then though :S!

gonna be putting in my polished moutney 10" wheel for it as well!

edit:

what time are people turning up as well??

hope u dont mind me being a sad c**t but i might end up doing some legal & regulatory revision sometime during the day, Im doing it for my job and dont really get much chance normally! - This means im gonna be arriving as soon as really... im talking, 8ish or so lol, i mite give me car a quick polish when im up there. According to the website the event is from 10.30 - so ive sent an email to the person organising

asking:
what times we can go/leave
and how much and whats involved on the driving course

right, as i am in touch with everyone on the stand, i will be letting u no the plan for the day e.g. times of getting there etc.

i'll put it here to just incase! stand members can start arriving at 8 and have to be in place by 9.30! i'm planning on getting there for 8.30 ish.

when u arrive, i believe someone should stop u, you should say I'm on the UK-polos.net stand and hopefully they should giude you to where our plot is! don't worry about parking up on the stand properly, we'll wait till all the cars have arrived to do that! of course, when i get there u'll have to pay as well! £6 for adults in a veedub!

the show itself is 9.30 - 4.30pm but there is plenty to do and see!

anyway, i'm off to get washing and polishing, so look forward to seeing everyone 2moz!

regards
Doug
