WINDOW WINDERS?

Post by DANBLACK87 »

hey, ive just bought some standard black window winders with a bit of chrome on the underside, a subtle yet smart statement i thought. except, i dont know how to fit them. anyone help?
i know it sounds stupid, but until last week id never owned a car, let alone tried to do some work on it.

any help would be appreciated. pics would be superb if poss.
help help help.

cheers,
Dan

To remove your old handles, you have to prise the trim off the front of the handle with a small screwdriver, so that you can access the screw under it. Remove this screw, and the handle will just pull from the mechanism. Refitting is the reverse of removal..

I'm sure the chrome handles could be sprayed if you sanded them back first, could look pretty cool..

Check out my winders. The chrome ring was taken from a Honda Concerto. I got the idea from looking at my parents' Civic window winders in the back.
