Hiya all, this is my first time on this forum.. i have a 1.4L CL polo (R reg -1997).. i have a twim DTM exhaust on and a K&N induction kit was just wondering if anybody knew anything else i could do to give it more speed/BPH.

thanx for all your help, i will try get some pictures on of it (i have also 40mm Lowered it and put some OZ superturismo GT alloys on, got some smoked out rear lights and clear front indicators.. also got some ICE)

hi mate

unfortunately you've got a very restricted engine to work with - there are countless posts on here for 8v owners wanting more speed.

you have done the obvious, perhaps you could lighten it up a little, but any other mods are going to cost an arm and a leg to do!

welcome to the forum though 8)

Drastic Diet - they don't tune up very well - weight loss is the way forward

now then mate..im new on here too.got a 16v with cat back system and k&n.u could always go for a full system /decat /manifold them bmc cda air filters are meant to be quite good too,your pretty limited i think without headwork/internals cams etc.

16v engine will go straight in and 100bhp..probabily best option...and least expensive..any others gonna cost loads to fit in a different engine!!!
