new parcel shelf!

Hey hey, just some pics of my homemade new parcel shelf! Parts used in construction include bits of an old printer, laminate flooring and 1p peices.

i got em for Â£30 off a mate, second hand. Think their only like Â£38 new anyways, but i bought em with the amp for Â£60 total. Proper good sound too, the bass is pretty mad for 6x9s - the whole boot really amplifies the bass. Bangin'!

...yeah me n my dad needed to make it easy to disconnect if we needed to carry a lot of shopping or something.

shelfs lookin smart mate.just on with install in mine ,shelfs like moon shaped but padded with 1.5 inch foam and backed in cream leather...and i aint even gonna try and describe the boot

,,gonna try and get some pics when finished..rich

p.s. i just added the tassle things yesterday so now the parcel shelf lifts when the boot opens!

i wanted to do that but i covered it before i got chance and dint wana rip the leather off coz it took me 4eva and i was well chuffd with myself.ps im new on here so ill try and get sum pics up soon.my new susp arrived in post today so im on with that 2,

Yeah, thats the good thing about the carpet i used - if i mucked up the holes for the lil rope things it was easily disguised, its quite rough stuff.
Maybe you should somehow connect some bonnet openers to the underside of the parcel shelf - thatd be sweet!
be hard to get em to open at the same time as the boot though...

not a bad idea.im still throwin a few ideas round in my head but i got a rough overall idea of what im tryin to do...i think.ill get pics soon.
