tights over my rear lights-opinions

i was cosidering tinting my rear lights so i thought i would stick some tights over them to see how it looks!

opinions plz

the first pic is one with and one without

from a distance they don't look too bad which suprises me!

They don't look to bad i have to be honest!
Can't say id leave em like that tho, id be embarrassed to park it in the 6th form car park...

just get 16v rear lights, they dont look cheap and much better

Hella Colour Magic Black lights look better, but they cost about a ton.

I'd leave them on mate, I think they do the trick, especially if you're skint!

Thumbs up for tinted lights! Esp. on a black polo, keep it stealth and it's all good.

Definately needs to be done, whatever way you do them. They'd look mint if you spray them, but get yourselfs some from the scrappers and do them in case you bugger up or whatever! Either that or as mentioned above, 16V lights...they're not really as tinted as I thought they would be. You could just buy some proper tinted rear clusters, but sprayings the cheaper option! Just need to do a good job, or find someone who can!

But anyway, yes! Tinted all the way

look great and cheap just how we all want it!
i know a mate who had a red escort he did the same thing to his rear lights using 2 pairs (2 on each light) they looked virtually black but the lights still shone through.

yep - it's an old skool trick that one, looks good

it'd be funny if an "officer of the law" pulled you over, and you could just rip off the tights if he thought they were illegal :twisted:
