That would also be a cool idea....i wouldnt like to lose my fogs tho, saying that...i never use them!
Could you not make holes next to the fog lights?
Did you ever get anywhere with the black b-pillars?

Erm well, i still wanna do the black pillar thing but cant seem to find anything thats good to use. I was thinking if i bought a black sun strip or viper stripes off ebay i could parhaps use that and cut it up...
Ive just spent £100 getting the fan etc done on the car so im not too flush at the moment with money, just bought a snooper yesterday too!

Of course its a "stage 1" remap which means you must have filter or BMC and an exhaust fitted. Not saying it wont work otherwise but you get less than 13 i guess.
I actually changed this map to a dyno made one to adjust for my camshaft change, but still...somehow this remap felt stronger in the high revs than the newer one....

Ive only got the BMC Air Filter on ma motor, does this mean this chip wont work ? or i will just get less of a rise in BHP/Torque ?
Also if i did have it done, could i add the Zorst afterwards and the remap would still be working to the best of its ability? or wud it need to be 'remapped' again?

No im under the impression that you can get the chip then add the induction kit whenever you want... the remap will just work better once you have the other bits, those dyno sheets i showed are off a polo gti with no mods.. so 9bhp off the chip then another 7 ish off the exhaust+BMC...
Oh and if i find 10 people he will do them all for £100...

Apparently he needs the ECU for 2-3 days. So you will probs be without a car for maybe 4 days?[/code]

I see, forgive me for being a great wet nancy haha but, is it a simple process to remove your ECU ?
Im an ITG Technician so im not afraid of technical parts etc, jsut that i dont really touch my car, i mean i did my Air filter but there a piece of p*** to install.
Is it straight forward? and can we treally trust this guy?
soz for being negative, just that sending off a resonably expensive part in the post worries me

i am deffo interested though !!

Lol, id expect you to be reasonably nervous, a new ecu is mega bucks. If you have a look @ porka.net in the tuning section you will find him there. I have no f*****g idea how to remove the ecu tbh, does anyone else. The lad has done tonnes of people's ecus and has a shop if im not mistaken!

Dont think that twin air filter thing will be good idea! They make cones certain sizes so they dont over air the engine if you get what i mean!!
The GTi works so well with the BMC or even a cone with some sort of extension down low like the mk4 golfs have!
ECU removal: Take the passenger scuttle panel off (black bit under wiper blade) lift rubber seal then pull plastic panel out then unclip the wires from the front of the ECU box then just unclip the box!!
Easy!

Thanks moynas, the ecu's just have to be posted to him, he remaps them over 2 days and then sends them back to us, if i can find 10 people he only wants 100quid!!
