This shows a gain of around 11.5Bhp, however due to differences in vehicles expect around 6-8bhp. The graphs also show a max increase of 14Nm or torque, again this may be less in some applications, taking peak torque above a stock GTi (150Nm) to 159Nm.
Price well depend on the number of people interested if its only 3 then the price will be £150 if 5 or more then I will do them for the same price as the 1.4 16v which is £120. I will need the ECU for 2-3days for installation on the first few, I may be able to do same day once I have determined the diffrent ECU code variations.
Ive asked him if i get 10 will he do it for less, im thinking we might be able to get it for £100 if we all go together. 9bhp + 9Nm torque is a f*****g bargin @ £100, flat spots will also be smoothed and probably drivability will be improved.

I would be interested in that actually but 9bhp is that a fairly noticable gain then? will it say increase the 0-60 by much?
i know the questions are quite silly but i just wanted to know what gains i would recieve
I'd be interested... but I plan to have a BMC CDA and a Powerflow exhaust system put in place by this time next year and would rather wait until that is done before getting the remap, so as to gain more power
Sounds cool though, would be good to get some feedback from those who may be having this done
If you gather enough people to get a good price, ill send all of you BOTH the remap code AND the EPROM FLASHER WITH THE ADAPTER to do the flashing of the memory eprom.All you have to do is the de/re soldering ....
If you are asking me, i can tell you i was told its a 13 HP gain with this remap.
Of course its a "stage 1" remap which means you must have filter or BMC and an exhaust fitted.Not saying it wont work otherwise but you get less than 13 i guess.
I actually changed this map to a dyno made one to adjust for my camshaft change, but still...somehow this remap felt stronger in the high revs than the newer one....
Even if nobody else does it with me im still gunna pay £150 to have it done. Worth a try init? I also was thinking last night. Poussou, if i bought 2 induction style filters say K&N ones and then had them going down the front behind the spot light grills... (obviously the grills would have to be drilled or something for airflow)
I would say it would have an effect, providing the mesh around the fog lights lets enough air in....one things for sure, it wouldn't drag warm air in from the engine down there!
P.S you could use chrome pipes for added engine bling!
Hehe, thought it might be a quite nifty idea. First thought about it when i realised how useless foglights actually are. Another idea of mine was to have 2 cold air feeds coming from the fog light holes going up into the engine bay. They could then be linked using a peice of T hose and then both feed into a BMC? Now thats some real cold air induction feed!
