yeah well just thought id suggest it as its easy enough to do !! just spray carb cleaner in it and mop it out with a rag !!

ive heard quite alot of bad stuff about carb cleaner from the rest of the guys here, an how it messes otha things up etc,

also, how hard would it be 2 install lowering springs? if i had the compressors? i think i could do it on my own, i just dont have the confidence 2 try it? :oops:

yes, im inda mix! my girlfriends dad has all the tools, i had forgot thats where i usually work at on my car, lol, all i need is the coil spring compressors, he might have a set, if so, there bein fitted 2moz :P

its not technical. its as easy as sticking a can of redex in the fuel tank.

all you do is take the airbox off and spray some carb cleaner down the hole while pulling the accelerator cable. i cant remember if you do it with the engine on or off. but you will feel more improvement doing it that way than putting redex in the fuel system. or just change the fuel filter i dont rate fuel addatives.


if you want to "Clean" the Fuel drain the tank put the pterol in a clear container. wait 24-48 hours and you will see that the fuel and water have layered the water will be on the bottom and "clean" petrol on top skim the top layer off and jobs a goodun.

I get this problem, happend again today, seems to only do it when i drive around for acouple of hours turn engine off then try and start it but nowt, i usly just put my foot to the floor start it a few times then its fine again!

try fitting a new temp sensor chap, its on the side of the coolant expansion bottle

it just sorted itself, i havnt had any problems, i didnt add any redex or anyting, it just started everytime
