i colour coded my grill, because its bright freaking red its noticeable, as that ahppens to be very different from black. i done it myself, piece of p***. No primer needed or anything, had the paint made up at a paint shop for a tenner and then off i went. Simple.

i think u shud go for the mesh again and b different or buy an fk badgless grill, ur car looks different with the mesh but it dosnt look bad as sum polo's do, the grill u have with the mesh has a thick frame which makes it different an looks ok.

I think colour coded grills and black badges are cool, hence my grill being colour coded and my badge being black

Hmmm not a fan to be fair, although could look ok on a fairly darker/subtle colour but wouldnt been keen on brighter colours.

Buts surely to colour code the badge and hide it away would be like saying 'yeh its a VW.. i wish it wasnt' and we all know that should never be said. If your gonna paint it anything, make sure its illuminous or somthign... new thought. Glowing badges. Ill retail them at 35 a piece. Patent pending you idea stealing SOB's
and even better one just came to mind. Chav style, LED filled, badge of illuminated, bright as f**k, glowing goodness. f**k foglights my badge does it all

yeah i'll be up for that!! bright LED badge!! banging!! (yeah rite!!)
think if i can get hold of another badge, i'll colour code it, so then i would have 3 badges, one silver, one black, and one colour coded! then i could see which one looked better.
think i am gone look for a garage to spray mine grill red, (which is the colour code on the sticker in the boot?)
then i'll just mix n match and see what looks better!
Thinking of it, can any one do me a photoshop of those ideas?
i've got the programme, but i'm no good with it!!
