Loud Im goin to fit my bmc this week but what im looking to know is did u have any difficulty puttin it in? Also did u use the original air vent np or did u have to modify it in anyway?

na it's well easy!

i used the original feed but it was too quiet due to it being restrictive so i removed the part with the back pressure valve. Now I think it could possibly be getting too much air as it's a bit laggy at certain revs in some gears so I might have to modify it so less air gets in. A car with less power would suffer from this more greatly so you might have to watch for that

i ordered some off ebay for a tenner, the pipercross is like 50 and the only difference is that the pipercross is black and has aluminium bits at the end that i don't need :lol:

I try not to read this thread as it makes me want your wheels more every time i see them!

A gti is 70mm if i remember rightly, dunno if a valver is different. Saying that didnt someone say a bmc kit is the same? I got a spare blue samco 90degree hose in exact right fit to bmc if your interested...!

finished colour coding my gti splitter and fitted it today, my first diy spray job and very pleased with the results

That 90 degree bend u have there. Is that the offical BMC one?
