I got told if GTI or G60 brakes are wanted, different hubs will be needed also.

Got this off ETKA.
So the 1.0, 1.4 8v, 1.7 Diesel (dont think they released them over here) and 1.9 Diesel wont work and new hubs are needed.
Whilst a 1.4 TDI, a 1.4 75bhp (16v), a 1.4 100bhp(16v), and a gti, will all accept the g60/vr6 carriers.
