Not getting a car you want because of what people might say is just stupid imo.

Yeah I have driven a Ka a few months ago and yeah i totally agree its got good handling and nippy. There more spacious than they look too I would say

I cant say I would care what people think as long as I am happy with my purchase. It annoys me some people are like NO just cause on the basis people say its a girls car.

The cooper is a superb handling car, no matter what people say about them.

Much prefer the single framed grill A3 as opposed to the old shape but as you said prices are still high, but as with most VAG cars they hold their value well.

I definitely wouldn't say no to an MX5 or a Mini Cooper (new or old), they're both great cars. I couldn't care less about a car's stigma. I drive a solid blue 50hp 5 door Polo, 'tis a proper granny car, but I'm not bothered.

Especially if the MX5 looks like this

Original MX5 is pretty cool. Wasn't voted consistently one of the best handling cars ever for nothing.

I'd have one. With a turbo conversion.

I went to look at a cooper today (51 plate) and it was probably the worst thing I could have done!!

I really want one! They are such a nice car. I know they are a lot of money but just by sitting in it, I could see where that money was going!!

Just seems such a fun car!!

There was a 1.9 TDI golf there too and I looked it and thought NO! I still want the mini lol its just got that characture and fun feel to it.
