I couldn't imagine the parcel shelf being any good for 10" upwards cos like you said, it'll rattle like mad!!
What 6"ers do you have Joe? And what are they like?

theyre a pair of old kenwoods, they sound pretty good i mean obviously its not mental bass but they do sound really nice, the problem is when i have it loud the components max out at the front and just make a crap thud sound. But sounds nice in the back.

with the 10" sub in the parcel shelf it sounds good.....
and by good i mean it gives me enough bass to make me happy.
the parcelshelfs plenty strong enough to hold it aswel.
